Immediately upon completion of the restoration work, the Jewish Quarter and its multitude of attractions came to symbolize the rehabilitation and repopulation of an ancient city preserving its past.
Innovations in the presentation of archeology introduced at several sites were impressive on an international scale. However, as the years passed, the presentation technologies became outdated, new sites were opened and tourism gems such as the Burnt House and the Herodian Quarter remained behind.
In recent years, JQDC has been rejuvenating these sites. A new presentation has been installed at the Burnt House, and rejuvenation of the other museums will be carried out in the near future.
