The Park was established at the time of the reconstruction of the Quarter, and has archeological findings that date back to different periods.

Description
This spectacular park is situated next to the Old City walls. It has an amphitheatre built above the remains of the domed Byzantine pool and public sports facilities that have been concentrated on the western side. Both sections extend along the southern wall, creating shaded areas during most of the year. Moderate slopes descend from both sides of the park. The slope on the western side is suitable for baby strollers.
