Description
The Cardo, the main road of the Christian-Byzantine city Aelia Capitolina, was an attempt to obliterate any remaining evidence of ancient Jerusalem and the Jews who lived there. The reconstructed Menorah (candelabra), the symbol of the State of Israel, has been positioned there.
